Metaphysical meaning of Hachilah (mbd)
Hachilah, haeh'-i-lah (Heb.)--dark; darksome; brilliant; flashing eyes; waiting in confidence; drought.
A hill in the wilderness of Ziph where David was in hiding from Saul, and where Saul encamped when he went to hunt for David (I Sam. 23:19; 26:3).
Meta. Hope, expectation of good, in the face of seeming darkness and lack; light, in the midst of apparent darkness.
