Metaphysical meaning of Hagrites (mbd)
Hagrites (in A.V., I Chron. 5:10, Hagarites, and in I Chron. 27:31, Hagerite), hag'-rltes (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Hagar.
Descendants of Hagar, a tribe of Ishmaelites (I Chron. 5:10; Psalms 83:6, margin; in text, Hagarenes). Jaziz the Hagrite was overseer of the flocks in David's reign (I Chron. 27:30).
