Metaphysical meaning of Hukkok (mbd)
Hukkok, huk'-kok (Heb.)--cut in; hew; engrave; carve; ordain; decree; appoint; a ditch; a scribe; lawyer; judge; ruler.
A city on the western or southwestern border of Naphtali (Josh. 19:34).
Meta. The establishing of the idea of unfailing strength (Naphtali) in the mind and heart, engraving it in the very cells and fiber of the whole being. Divine Truth must be thus written (engrave, cut in, a scribe) in our inward parts, and all our thought and organism must become alive to the abidingness, unfailingness, and reality of strength, and of each of the faculties of mind. (See Hebrews 10:16 and Jeremiah 31:33.)
