Metaphysical meaning of Iru (mbd)
Iru, I'-ru. (Heb.)--citizen; watcher; flux; flowing together; heat of the mind; vigilance; wrath; anger.
Son of Caleb (I Chron. 4:16).
Meta. A citizen of, or thought belonging to, the same consciousness as Ir. (See IR.) It is that in us which is ever attentive to and zealous for what it understands to be Truth (watcher, heat of the mind, vigilance). This zealousness might easily turn into wrath or anger if the personal is too much in evidence in one's zeal.
