Metaphysical meaning of Ishi (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Ishi (mbd)
Ishi, ish'-i (Heb.)--my luminous principle; my man; my husband. (See also the ISHI that follows this one.)

"And it shall be at that day, saith Jehovah, that thou shalt call me Ishi, and shalt call me no more Baali" (Hos. 2:16). In the margin, "my husband" is given in place of Ishi, and "my master" in place of Baali.
Meta. The foregoing text is prophetic of the time into which we are now coming, the time when we shall realize and demonstrate that we are no longer servants of God, but are His sons. This is the time when the marriage of the Lamb shall have taken place in our consciousness, and we shall have entered into the abiding realization of our oneness with God, our perfect union with the indwelling Christ, the time when wisdom and love shall have been made one in us. Spirit is then to us our positive illuminating principle, our wisdom, our husband (Ishi), and we no longer see in God and in Christ a master (Baali), for we "shall be sons of the Most High."
