Metaphysical meaning of Izharites (mbd)
Izharites (in A. V., Numbers 3:27, Izeharites), iz'-här-ites (fr. Heb.).
Levites, descendants of Izhar (I Chron. 26:23). "Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges" (I Chron. 26:29); this was in David's reign.
