Metaphysical meaning of Jaakobah (mbd)
Jaakobah, ja-a-ko'-bah (Heb.)--the Jacob; that Jacob; another form of Jacob with the definite article: the supplanter; the deceiver; the lier in wait.
A prince of Simeon, an influential and prosperous man (I Chron. 4:36).
Meta. Jaakobah, like Jacob, pertains to the mental in man, which must supplant the animal, the fleshly, in consciousness, or, the spiritual, which must in turn take the place of the purely mental. (See JACOB.)
