Metaphysical meaning of Jabneh (mbd)
Jabneh, jab'-neh (Heb.)--a building; a construction, a production; posterity.
A city of the Philistines whose wall was broken down by Uzziah, king of Judah (II Chron. 26:6).
Meta. The outer-sense man's idea of himself, of man in general. (The Philistines signify the outer thoughts and activities of the senses established in the limited ideas of the personal man.) Uzziah, meaning Jehovah is my strength, strength of Jehovah, broke down the wall of Jabneh. In other words, through divine strength a victory is gained over carnal man's limited thought regarding himself, and the understanding is lifted to a higher, clearer, and more correct recognition of the entire organism as being founded in Spirit.
