Janim (A. V., Janum), ja'-nim (Heb.)--slumber; a light sleep; lassitude; weariness; inactive; slothful.
A city in the hill country of Judah (Josh. 15:53).
Meta. A group of thoughts of an innately high character (a city in the hill country of Judah), but lying dormant, inactive, asleep. These thoughts need to be awakened by praise and prayer (Judah) to true understanding and action.
