Metaphysical meaning of Jashubi-lehem (mbd)
Jashubi-lehem, jash'-u-bi-le'-hem (Heb.)--returning of bread; restoration of sustenance; restitution of substance; turning back to Bethlehem; turning back for food.
Either a person or a place mentioned in the genealogy of Judah (I Chron. 4:22). Fallows says that by some it is thought to refer to Naomi and Ruth, "who returned [from jashubi, 'to return'] to Bethlehem after the famine."
Meta. Bethlehem (house of bread) is the abiding place of substance in individual consciousness. (See BETHLEHEM.)
Jashubi-lehem (turning back to Bethlehem) indicates the individual's turning from the outer and centering his attention within on the substance center, in order to realize omnipresent spiritual substance as his true abiding sustenance and supply. (The substance center in the body is located at the pit of the stomach.)
