Metaphysical meaning of Jehoaddin (mbd)
Jehoaddin (A. V., Jehoaddan), je-hoad'-din (Heb.)--feminine form of Jehoaddah--whom Jehovah adorns; whom Jah makes eternal; whom Jehovah fully develops; beautifying of Jah; Jehovah reveals, testimonial of Jehovah.
Wife of Joash and mother of Amaziah, kings of Judah (II Kings 14:2). She was “of Jerusalem."
Meta. The soul dwelling in peace (Jerusalem) and delighting in the things of Spirit. "I will greatly rejoice in Jehovah, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels" (Isa. 61:10).
