Metaphysical meaning of Jered (mbd)
Jered, je'-red (Heb.)--going down, i. e., from a higher to a lower; descent; downcast; weeping; flowing down; flowing south; brought low; a mountain stream.
Son of Ezrah (I Chron. 4:18). The same name as Jared.
Meta. Virtually the same meaning as Jared: the descent of the higher Truth thoughts into the subconsciousness (flowing south) and the body consciousness in one's seemingly mortal state (brought low), there to act as leaven and so to raise the whole of the individual to a higher, even to spiritual, understanding and demonstration.
