Metaphysical meaning of Joiakim (mbd)
Joiakim, joi'-a-kim (Heb.)--whom Jehovah has set up; Jehovah establishes; Jehovah rises, i. e., in judgment; whom Jah constitutes; Jehovah restores upright.
Son of Jeshua, a high priest who returned from Babylon with Zerubbabel (Neh. 12:10). Joiakim is a contraction of the name Jehoiakim.
Meta. A ruling thought in man's religious or spiritual consciousness (high priest) that exalts Spirit, that perceives the possibility of establishing God in individual consciousness, and that works toward that end. (See JEHOIAKIM.)
