Metaphysical meaning of Joshaphat (mbd)
Joshaphat, josh'-a-phat (Heb.)--whom Jehovah judges; whom Jah sustains; Jah defends.
One of David's mighty warriors, and a member of his guard (I Chron. 11:43). The name is a form of Jehoshaphat.
Meta. The significance is virtually the same as that of Jehoshaphat: the development in consciousness of the idea of judgment and of the sustaining power of I AM. (See JEHOSHAPHAT.)
