Metaphysical meaning of Kiriath-baal (mbd)
Kiriath-baal (A. V., Kirjath-baal), kir'-i-ath-ba'-al (Heb.)--city of Baal; city of the lord; city of the master; city of dominion; city of possession.
The same place as Kiriath-jearim, a city in the hill country of Judah (Josh. 15:60).
Meta. In Kiriath-baal the idea is given that, at this particular phase of unfoldment in the individual, this group of thoughts of dominion and abundance in consciousness still attributes power to things formed instead of understanding that all power and all reality exist in formless Spirit.
