Metaphysical meaning of Lael (mbd)
Lael, la'-el (Heb.)--unto God; Godward; of God; belonging to God; consecrated to God; created by God.
Father of Eliasaph, who was prince of the house of the Gershonites (Num. 3:24)
Meta. A ruling thought belonging to that phase of the love faculty in man for which Gershon, son of Levi, stands. (See GERSHON.) This thought is of God, is turned toward God (Godward), and is consecrated to God; thus it does its part in elevating the consciousness of the individual to a higher and more spiritual standard.
