Metaphysical meaning of Lasea (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Lasea (mbd)
Lasea, lå-se'-å (Gk.)--thick; dense; hard; stony; wise.

A city in Crete, near Fair Havens. It is mentioned in the account of Paul's dangerous and stormy voyage to Rome as a prisoner (Acts 27:8).

Meta. A group of thoughts signifying the wisdom (wise) of the material state of consciousness that Crete represents, or worldly wisdom. In the light of Spirit, worldly wisdom is very dense and is not at all clear in its attempted reasonings (thick). It is hard also (stony); it lacks the peaceable, gentle, and loving quality of the wisdom from above (Jas. 3:17).
