Metaphysical meaning of Magog (mbd)
Magog, ma'-gog (Heb.)--region of Gog; from the upper, i. e., north; elasticity; extreme extension; ample covering; enlargement.
Son of Japheth, who was one of Noah's three sons (Gen. 10:2). A "land" or a nation against which Ezekiel prophesied (Ezek. 38:2). "Gog and Magog" are used symbolically in Revelation 20:8.
