Metaphysical meaning of Meshullam (mbd)
Meshullam, me-shul'-lam (Heb.)--devoted; allied; associated; friend, i. e., of God; peaceful; pacified; perfected.
a A Gadite (I Chron. 5:13). b One who stood at the left hand of Ezra when he read the book of the law to the people (Neh. 8:4). c There were several other Israelites by this name.
Meta. Thoughts in man's higher consciousness (Israelites) that are in accord with the Christ Spirit, with Truth (devoted).
These thoughts are friends and associates of and are unified (allied) with Divine Mind; therefore that which is peaceable and perfect (peaceful, perfected) is their keynote.
