Pelaiah, pe-la'-iah (Heb.)--whom Jehovah makes distinguished; the Lord has distinguished; Jah is wonderful; marvel of Jah; whom Jehovah strengthens.
a Son of Elioenai, of Judah, of the line of David and Solomon (I Chron. 3:24). b One who helped Ezra to cause the people to understand the law (Neh. 8:7). c Named among those who joined Nehemiah in sealing the covenant (Neh. 10:10).
Meta. A great sense of upliftment and strength, of Truth and might, that is the result of exalting and magnifying the I AM, Christ, or Jehovah in consciousness (whom Jehovah makes distinguished, the Lord has distinguished, Jah is wonderful, whom Jehovah strengthens).
