Pilha (A.V., Pileha), pil-hå (Heb.) --cleaving; breaking out; breaking forth; bringing forth; dividing; a slice; a fragment; a rider; a husbandman; labor; work; service; worship.
One who joined Nehemiah in sealing the covenant, a chief of the people (Neh. 10:24).
Meta. A breaking out of, away from, error, sense confusion (Babylon), by bringing forth a degree (a slice, a fragment) of dominion over one's vital thoughts and forces (a rider). Thus that which Pilha signifies becomes a server and worshiper of God, the divine principle of life and good, in the body temple (a husbandman, labor, work, service, worship; one who joined Nehemiah in sealing the covenant after the return from Babylon).
