Metaphysical meaning of Pyrrhus (mbd)
Pyrrhus, pyr'-rhus (Gk.)--fiery red; firelike; kindled; inflamed.
Father of Sopater, the latter a companion of Paul's on one of his missionary journeys (Acts 20:4).
Meta. A thought of great vitality, of abundant life, but not expressing so harmoniously as is needful if one is to keep in poise and health (fiery red, firelike, kindled, inflamed).
