Metaphysical meaning of Ramath-lehi (mbd)
Ramath-lehi, ra'-math-le'-hi (fr. Heb.)--the height of Lehi; throwing of the jawbone; raising up the jawbone; height of vigorous strength; height of virility.
The place where Samson cast from his hand the jawbone of the ass with which he had just killed a thousand Philistines (Judg. 15:17, in margin, "The hill of the jawbone").
Meta. A lifting up, in consciousness, of the qualities that the jawbone of the ass signifies: determination, endurance, vigorous strength, and so forth. (See LEHI.)
