Metaphysical meaning of Seba (mbd)
Seba, se'-bå (Heb.)--radical moisture; vital fluid; condensation; sap; sucking up saturation; drinking to excess; drunken; intoxicated; turning; reeling.
a Son of Cush (Gen. 10:7). b A nation (Isa. 43:3).
Meta. Intemperate desire expressing in the body consciousness. The Seba thought and state of thought are not poised, moderate, or well balanced about anything; they go to the extreme, especially in indulgence of the appetites and desires of the flesh when the "mind of the flesh" is in the ascendancy in the individual. Yet at the back of all desire there is good; there is that which in the end works for the uplift and enrichment of the consciousness. Thus we have the assurance that "the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts" to the Christ, who is the righteous king in man and in the whole earth.
