Metaphysical meaning of Sheleph (mbd)
Sheleph, she'-leph (Heb.)--reaction; reflection; refraction; emission; extraction; drawing out; drawn out; plucking; gathering.
The second of the sons of Joktan (Gen. 10:26).
Meta. A working out, from within, of the spiritual in man, or at least a striving of Spirit within man for greater expression in and through the individual (reaction, refraction, extraction, drawing out, drawn out). At the Sheleph stage of one's unfoldment, however, the spiritual does not gain much headway, apparently, in finding a place in one's consciousness and practical living. Further general evolution, or unfoldment and growth, is needed.
