Shephuphan, she-phu'-phan (Heb.)--creeping along; smoothly gliding; serpent- reptile.
Son of Bela, one of Benjamin's sons (I Chron. 8:5). This name is written Shephupham in Numbers 26:39, Shuppim in I Chronicles 7:12, 15, and Muppim in Genesis 46:21. Meta. A human or sense wisdom (serpent). See MUPPIM.
