Metaphysical meaning of Shillem (mbd)
Shillem, sh`il'-lem (Heb.)--restoration; restitution; requital; recompense; retribution; made whole; in the way of salvation; peace.
Son of Naphtali (Gen. 46:24). He is called Shallum in I Chronicles 7:13.
Meta. See SHALLUM. In the significance of both of these names the thought that restoration, salvation, peace. perfection, are the result of sowing to Spirit is in the ascendancy. This thought that Shillem represents belongs particularly to the strength faculty in the individual, and so gives the substance of its strength to the working out of the law of cause and effect in consciousness, for good.
