Metaphysical meaning of Shoshannim Eduth (mbd)
Shoshannim Eduth, sho-shan'-nim e'-duth (Heb.)--lilies of the law; lilies of the covenant; lilies of the testimony; trumpets of revelation; ornaments of the psalm; with trumpet and lute; ornamental lyric song.
The manner or melody after which the psalm was to be sung (Psalms 80, title; "that is, Lilies, a testimony," margin).
Meta. Purity of thought; also the beauty of high spiritual thought, actively expressing in the consciousness and in the very depths of the soul, thus proving that pure thinking, desiring, and feeling are strong factors in establishing harmony and music--orderly, melodious activities of mind and body, and their resultant conditions (lilies of the testimony, ornamental lyric song, lilies of the covenant, trumpets of revelation).
