Metaphysical meaning of Uzal (mbd)
Uzal, u'-zal (Heb.)--sympathetic communication; carried rapidly to an object; constant progression; continual going forth; divine spark; purifying fire; purified air.
A son of Joktan, who was descended from Shem (Gen. 10:27).

The continual unfoldment that takes place in the progressively inclined individual because of his natural conformity to the divine ideal or divine spark within him, which is ever urging him on to higher light, new understanding, purer thoughts and ways (sympathetic communication, carried rapidly to an object, constant progression, continual going forth, divine spark, purifying fire, purified air; a son of Joktan, who was descended from Shem).
