Metaphysical meaning of Zebadiah (mbd)
Zebadiah, zeb–a–di'–ah (Heb.)--Jehovah has given; Jah is endower; dowry of Jah; presentation of Jehovah.
The name of several Israelites; some of them were prominent men (I Chron. 8:15; 12:7; II Chron. 19:11; Ezra 8:8).
Meta. "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly," were the words of Jesus. "The free gift of Go(l is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." That which Jehovah gives to man is Godlikeness, and this includes continuity of fullness of life, as well as love, wisdom, substance, power, everything that man can possibly need and use for his unfoldment and growth into spiritual perfection, into the eternal consciousness of life, of every good (Jehovah has given, Jah is endower, dowry of Jah, presentation of Jehovah).
