Naaran, na'-a-ran (Heb.)--boyish; youthful; juvenile; virgin; puerile; offshoot; descendant; waterfall.

A town of Ephraim (I Chron. 7:28). In Joshua 16:7 it is called Naarah.

Meta. The significance is virtually the same as that of NAARAH and NAARAI, which see. The idea of youthfulness in these names is that of a fully developed youth, of marriageable age.
