Metaphysical meaning of Rosh (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Rosh (mbd)
Rosh, rosh (Heb.)--principle; head; chief; highest; top; first; foremost; elder; former; inclination; will; affection.

A son of Benjamin (Gen. 46:21).

Meta. Benjamin (son of the right hand, one of Jacob's sons by Rachel) represents an active faith. Rosh (principle, head, chief, first, highest, inclination, will) relates to the will. Since Rosh was a son of Benjamin the significance is that the will, having been given first place in the consciousness of the individual, is acting through faith, or in conjunction with it. (See RHESA, which is the Greek form of Rosh.)
