Metaphysical meaning of Tryphaena (mbd)

Metaphysical meaning of Tryphaena (mbd)
Tryphaena (A. V., Tryphena), tryphæ'-nå (Gk.)--living delicately; luxurious; softness; effeminacy; luxurious living.

A Christian worker, a woman, whom Paul saluted in his letter to the Romans (Rom. 16:12).

Meta. A very highly refined, rich soul quality, in the spiritually awakening individual, that ministers to the consciousness (a woman at Rome who labored for the Lord). The definitions of Tryphæna, however (living delicately, luxurious living, softness, effeminacy), bespeak a certain yielding to sense and a weakness and negativeness that need correcting.
