Metaphysical meaning of Gizonite (mbd)
Gizonite, gl'-zo-nlte (fr. Heb.)--cut or hewn stone; a quarry; ford; pass.
I Chron. 11:34 mentions the sons of Hashem the Gizonite as having been among David's mighty warriors. Nothing more is known of a place called Gizon.
Meta. A thought pertaining to the passing over (ford, pass) from a belief in lack to a consciousness of true spiritual riches; also the obtaining of a sure foundation (cut or hewn stone, a quarry) for one's supply of good within and without (Hashem means shining, fat, wealthy, thus suggesting riches).
