Metaphysical meaning of Ithrite (mbd)
Ithrite, ith'-rite (fr. Heb.)--of or belonging to Jether; name applied to the descendants of Jether or Ithra.

Two men of David's guard were Ithrites, Ira and Gareb (II Sam. 23:38). (See I Chronicles 2:53.)

Meta. A thought springing from and resembling that in consciousness for which Jether stands. (See JETHER, ITHRA, and GAREB.)
