Metaphysical meaning of Jahzah (mbd)
Jahzah (in A. V., Jeremiah 48:21, Jahazah), jäh'-zah (Heb.)--trampled upon; a place trodden down; a threshing floor; hard; compact; unrelenting; contentious; quarrelsome.

A city of Reuben, on the east side of Jordan, that was given over to the Levites (I Chron. 6:78). It is the same city as Jahaz.

Meta. The same as Jahaz, only the thoughts that Jahzah typifies are in the phase of consciousness that Reuben signifies. (See JAHAZ and REUBEN.)
