The name that Nathan the prophet gave to Solomon (II Sam. 12:25).
Meta. Solomon means peaceful, and Jedidiah (beloved of Jehovah, friend of Jehovah) signifies the inner realization of divine love and the unifying quality of love in which alone true peace can be established.
