Metaphysical meaning of Jehoash (mbd)
Jehoash, je-ho'-ash (Heb.)--whom Jehovah has bestowed; given of Jehovah; whom Jah supports; Jehovah heals; fire of Jehovah; fire of the Lord.
a Son of Ahaziah. He became ruler of Judah in place of his grandmother Athaliah (II Kings 11:21; 12:1). He is called Joash in II Kings 11:2, and 13:1. b King of Israel in Samaria (II Kings 13:10).
