Jehohanan, je-ho-ha'-nan (Heb.)--whom Jehovah bestows; Jehovah graciously gives; Jah is favorably inclined; compassion of Jah; mercy of Jehovah; grace of the Lord.
There are several Israelites by this name (I Chron. 26:3; II Chron. 17:15; 23:1; Ezra 10:28; Neh. 6:18; 12:13, 42).
Meta. Love, mercy, and good will as qualities of Being and as becoming known to man and expressed in him through his spiritual I AM, or Jehovah (whom Jehovah bestows, compassion of Jah, grace of the Lord).
