Metaphysical meaning of Kerioth-hezron (mbd)
Kerioth-hezron (A. V., Kerioth, and Hezron), ke'-r1-oth-hez'-ron (Heb.)joining inclosures; adjoining pastures; cities of verdure; blooming congregations.
A city of Judah, "toward the border of Edom in the South. . . (the same is Hazor)." (See Josh. 15:25.)
Meta. A central thought group, with the smaller groups of thoughts surrounding it (joining inclosures; cities of verdure; each of the cities of Judah named in the 15th chapter of Joshua had villages that belonged to it; see 32d, 36th, 41st verses), in the Judah, or praise-and-prayer, consciousness of the individual. The dominating characteristic of the thought groups that Kerioth-hezron signifies is that of thriving and growing, of vigor, freshness, substance, and beauty (blooming, pastures, verdure). Thus these thoughts tend toward renewing and keeping one ever in the realization of abundant life and youth. (See HAZOR, KERIOTH, and HEZRON.)
