Metaphysical meaning of Neriah (mbd)
Neriah, ne-ri-ah (Heb.)--Jehovah spreads light abroad; Jehovah is a lamp; Jah is light; Jehovah enlightens.
Father of Baruch, to whom Jeremiah delivered the deed of the field in Anathoth that he bought from Hanamel his cousin (Jer. 32:12). Neriah is mentioned again, in Jeremiah 51:59, as the father of Seraiah.
Meta. The consciousness of the individual awakening to the truth that all true light or understanding is spiritual and exists in and radiates through the Christ mind in man, Jehovah (Jah is light, Jehovah enlightens, Jehovah spreads light abroad).
