Phoebe (A.V., Phebe), phoe'-be (Gk.) --bright; shining; brilliant; radiant; pure.
A "servant" or "deaconess" (margin) of the church at Cenchreæ in Corinth, to whom Paul sent salutation in his letter to the Romans (Rom. 16:1).
