Metaphysical meaning of Ramathaim-zophim (mbd)
Ramathaim-zophim, ra-math-a'-im-zo'-phim (Heb.)--watchers of the heights; double watchtowers; double height of watchers; overcomers of the heights.
A place in the hill country of Ephraim. There lived Elkanah and Hannah, the parents of Samuel, and there Samuel was born (I Sam. 1:1).
Meta. Doubly watchful, or doubly receptive to the inflow of high, spiritual understanding (watchers of the heights, double watchtowers, double height of watchers, overcomers of the heights, a place in the hill country of Ephraim). The idea of overcoming, of expressing and demonstrating Truth, is also contained in Ramathaim-zophim.
