Metaphysical meaning of Rhoda (mbd)
Rhoda, rho'-då (Gk.)--rose; rosebush.
A maid in the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark. She came to the door in answer to Peter's knocking after he had been delivered from prison by the angel in response to those who were praying for him (Acts 12:13-16).
Meta. Love, active in the feminine, intuitive, serving, receptive phase of consciousness in the individual (rose; a maid or servant in the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark).
