Metaphysical meaning of Senir (mbd)
Senir, se'-nir (Heb.)--interwoven; entwined; connected; coat of mail; corselet; glistening; peak; snowy mountain.
The Amoritish name for Mount Hermon (Deut. 3:9).
Meta. Mount Hermon represents a high, sublime state of mind. Senir (peak, snowy mountain, glistening, the Amoritish name for Mount Hermon) symbolizes the highest thought of Truth that the Amorite phase of consciousness in man can perceive. (See AMORITES.) This high ideal is to this consciousness more or less a mixture of sense thoughts about Truth (interwoven, entwined), and takes on an aggressive or defensive attitude (coat of mail).
