Metaphysical meaning of Sophereth (mbd)
Sophereth, soph'-e-reth (Heb.)--military scribe; tribune; muster master; enumerator- narrator; writer; scribe; satrap; governor; learned; lettered.
A servant of Solomon's, or a descendant of one of Solomon's servants. His descendants returned from the Babylonian captivity (Neh. 7:57). He is called Hassophereth in Ezra 2:55.

In the significance of this name we find also the idea of an orderly gathering together, a directing and instructing of thoughts stressed (military scribe, muster master, governor, learned).
