Metaphysical meaning of Zererah (mbd)
Zererah (A. V., Zererath), zer'–e–rah (Heb.)--cutting; sharp; penetrating; piercing; cold; cool; cooling.
A place named in the account of the defeat of the Midianites by Gideon (Judg. 7 :22). It is thought to be the same place as Zarethan and Zeredah.
Meta. The significance is virtually the same as that of ZARETHAN, which see. Then look up the significance of BETH--SHITTAH, ABEL–MEHOLAH, and TABBATH, places that are named in conjunction with Zererah. Thus you will perceive how Zererah represents the "expression" of the overcoming ideas that are suggested by these other cities, and by Gideon's defeating the Midianites and putting them to rout.
No real victory over error can be gained in the thoughts of an individual without a corresponding manifestation in his body and affairs.
