Metaphysical meaning of Zurishaddai (mbd)
Zurishaddai, zu–ri–shad'–dai (Heb.)--the Almighty is a rock; my rock is the Almighty; the Omnipotent is a rock of refuge.
Father of Shelumiel, who was the prince chosen from the tribe of Simeon to stand with Moses and Aaron in numbering the Children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai (Num. 1:6).
Meta. Like Zuriel, the knowledge or realization of God as unchanging principle, as one's staying power, defense, the sure foundation of one's abiding perfection and good (the Almighty is a rock, my rock is the Almighty).
