Which of Jacob's sons and which of Jesus' disciples represent love?
11. Of the sons of Jacob, Levi, and of the disciples of Jesus, John, represent love in man. The Levites were chosen to serve in the sanctuary of the temple, typifying that love is nearest to God. John's gospel is about love, and his epistles make love the supreme thing.
