THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Agenda
Revelation is probably the most misunderstood in the Bible, largely because it was deliberately written in symbol to protect the followers of the Way from persecution. It is the only apocalyptic book in the Bible, apocalyptic meaning that it reveals a hidden Truth.
For us as Truth students, however, it has profound meaning, its main point being what it means to be ”born again”; it provides us with instructions as to how to make the transition from a life of bondage in human consciousness to the freedom of a life in spiritual consciousness. Charles Fillmore says, “Jesus, the Great Teacher, gave many lessons for our instruction, the greatest and most mystical being the Revelation of John” (Twelve Powers).
We must interpret the book metaphysically, however, in order to fully appreciate these lessons.
There will be six classes, beginning Thursday Jan. 22 followed by Jan. 29, Feb. 5, no class on Feb. 12th, but continuing on Feb. 19th, 26th and concluding on March 5. Please email to preregister: reveleanor@gmail.com and read the book of Revelation to prepare.
